
20-year-old Russian figure skater Stanislava Konstantinova is expected to take part in the fourth stage of the Cup of Russia series in Kazan, scheduled from November 8 to 12.
Konstantinova’s coach Alexander Volkov informed Russian news agency TASS of this decision, “Stanislava will participate in the Kazan stage. Everything is in order, we are preparing.”
Earlier this month, the skater participated in the second stage of the series in Moscow. Having earned a total competition score of 196.83 points (67.10 points for the short program and 129.73 points for the free skate), Konstantinova placed fifth overall. This season, in order to qualify for the Russian National Championship, each skater is required to take part in two stages of the Cup.
Currently, the other expected entries in Kazan include 2020 European champion Alena Kostornaia, two-time World Junior champion Alexandra Trusova, 2019 European champion Sofia Samodurova, 2020 World Junior champion Andrei Mozalev, two-time European champions Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov, as well as four-time European Championship medalists Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin.
