
The Swiss Ice Skating federation has announced that this weekend’s Trophée Romand competition in Switzerland has been cancelled due to COVID-19 precautions.
Part of the Swiss Cup, the Trophée Romand was set to take place in Lausanne starting Friday. Normally a domestic competition, this year it was expected to be headlined by Stephane Lambiel’s athletes – including his international skaters who train in Champery.
According to the official website of Swiss Ice Skating, two other upcoming competitions in Switzerland are also cancelled – Eulach Cup (which was scheduled for the first weekend of November) and EVBN Cup.
