Today, the Figure Skating Federation of Russia updated the list of entries for the fourth stage of the Cup of Russia series. The list now includes Anastasia Tarakanova in the ladies’ event and Egor Rukhin in the men’s event.
16-year-old Tarakanova last participated at the ISU Junior Grand Prix series more than a year ago, when she won bronze medals at both the United States and Polish stages. She formerly trained with Eteri Tutberidze and with Evgeny Plushenko, and now works with Svetlana Panova.
Also 16 years old, Rukhin trains at CSKA in Moscow with Elena Buianova. Last season, the skater placed fourth at the French stage of the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and was the winner of the Syzran stage of the Cup of Russia about thirteen months ago.
