Originally scheduled to take place in Veliky Novgorod – about 300 miles west of Moscow – from February 23 to 27, the Cup of Russia Final will be moved to the country’s capital.
Alexander Kogan, the General Director of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia, told Russian media publication RIA Novosti: “The final of the Cup of Russia will be moved to Moscow. The dates will be different.”
Previously, Veliky Novgorod hosted the event for the last three years.
