A photo of Alena Kostornaia at the Khrustalny ice skating rink was posted by Miroslava Lebedeva on her Instagram stories. Originally uploaded with the phrase “Glad to see you” in Russian, the image was taken down and then reposted without the words.
Along with a few other skaters from Angels of Plushenko, Kostornaia was supposed to perform at the 80th birthday celebration of Alexei Mishin in St. Petersburg today; however, it seems that she will not take part in the event.
There is no further information about whether Kostornaia’s return to Eteri Tutberidze’s is finally official yet.
