U.S. Figure Skating have announced that the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas will host the opening stage of the ISU Grand Prix series for the third consecutive year in 2021.
The event will take place from October 22 to 24. All-session ticket packages will go on sale May 26; more information will be available at 2021SkateAmerica.com.
Skate America was first held at the Orleans Arena in 2019. Following its success, it was again selected in 2020 – then held without spectators because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Anne Cammett, president of U.S. Figure Skating, said, “The Orleans Arena was such a great partner for this competition in 2020, so we are excited to bring Skate America back to Las Vegas in 2021. We’re looking forward to having fans in attendance as athletes from the United States and abroad continue on their journey towards the Olympic Winter Games.”
The list of competitors at the 2021 Skate America will be announced in June.
