On September 1, two-time Olympic silver medalist, as well as two-time World and European champion, Evgenia Medvedeva announced on Instagram that she has entered the Moscow State University.
“Now I am a student at MSU (Moscow State University)”
The 21-year-old also revealed that she was accepted into the
Graduate School of Cultural Policy and Humanitarian Management.
September 1 is known to as
Knowledge Day in Russia and many other former Soviet countries, and is traditionally the first day of the new school year. Medvedeva shared thoughts on this day on Instagram as well:
“Today is September 1 and, as usual on this day, memories flooded over me – and the most pleasant ones!
I studied at the Sambo-70 school and every year after the summer holidays I returned there with the warmest feelings. I think that I was very lucky with the teachers and even a little offended that I was not able to assimilate everything that they could give me – because of frequent training and absences. But I still remember the main lesson: learning is very important! And I still follow this rule. And this year – especially! I can’t wait to share the news, I promise – I will definitely tell you everything in stories!”
As a reminder, in 2017, Medvedeva had
announced that she had entered the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism.
