
At this week’s competition in Budapest, Hungary – the 2021 Santa Claus Cup – Azerbaijani representative Ekaterina Ryabova handily won the women’s event, while Russian ice dancers Anastasia Skoptsova and Kirill Aleshin also claimed first place.
The victory at the competition is Ryabova’s for gold medal at an international competition since winning the Ice Star in October 2018.

2018 World Junior champions Anastasia Skoptsova and Kirill Aleshin celebrated their second gold medals in international competitions this season – the Russian ice dancers won the Denis Ten Memorial Challenge in October and finished in sixth place at the Rostelecom Cup last month.
