Keegan Messing wins at the Golden Spin of Zagreb; Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker take gold in ice dance

The final stage of this season’s International Skating Union (ISU) Challenger Series – the 2021 Golden Spin of Zagreb – culminated on Saturday with the last set of medals decided in the men’s and the ice dance disciplines.

Canada’s Keegan Messing withstood reigning World Junior champion’s Andrei Mozalev’s charge in the free skate event to win his first medal of the season, while former Four Continents champions Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker won gold after having been in second place heading into the free dance event.
