Sofia Muravieva’s score adjusted and Anna Shcherbakova moves up to second place at Russian Nationals

Following the events of the second day at the 2022 Russian Figure Skating Championships, Sofia Muravieva’s short program score was adjusted – meaning Anna Shcherbakova moves into second place heading into tomorrow’s free skate.

Muravieva received a one point deduction for a delayed start – each figure skater has 30 seconds to take their starting position but Muravieva took 32 seconds.

According to Vice President of the International Skating Union (ISU) and technical controller of the event Alexander Lakernik, the delay was noted but did not appear in the computer. Therefore, Muravieva’s score was not 81.87 points as shown during the broadcast but 80.87 points.
