Another figure skater has withdrawn from the 2022 U.S. Figure Skating Championships due to a positive COVID-19 test result on Friday – Amber Glenn announced on Instagram that she tested positive for the virus ahead of the women’s free skate event.
The 22-year-old Texan had an uncharacteristically bad outing in last night’s short program event – she placed fourteenth.
According to Glenn, she tested positive for COVID-19 after this morning’s practice.
Earlier today, Alysa Liu also withdrew from the women’s free skate event due to a positive test result.
